LEGAL STATUS & INTERMEDIATION ROLE
The Island App IKE (the "Company", "we", "us") is a registered Greek Private Company (IKE) providing a digital intermediation platform (the "App").
- The Platform: Our App connects Users ("Clients") with independent third-party Service Providers ("Providers") for various services, including but not limited to Transfers, Yachting, Aviation, Concierge, and Lifestyle activities.
- Nature of Contract: The Company acts strictly as an intermediary. For most services, the contract is between the User and the Provider. For Private Transfers (V.I.P. Transport), the Company manages the mandatory legal registration in the Ministry of Transport's digital registry as a legal mediator under Greek Law (N. 4093/2012).
- Limitation of Liability: The Company is not the physical provider of services. We do not own, operate, or control the vehicles, vessels, or aircraft. The Provider is solely responsible for licensing, insurance, safety, and service execution. The Company is not liable for any injury, property damage, or delays caused by the Provider.
FINANCIAL POLICY: THE 5% RULE
Administrative & Processing Fee
A flat 5% fee is applied to the total booking amount. This fee covers banking processing (Revolut Gateway), digital infrastructure, and administrative costs.
Non-Refundable Clause
This 5% fee is strictly non-refundable under any and all circumstances, including but not limited to User cancellations, weather-related cancellations (Force Majeure), or accidental bookings.
Refundable Base
All cancellation refunds (100% or 50%) are calculated based on the remaining 95% of the total price (the "Refundable Base").

Non-Refundable
0% refund from the moment of booking. Provider details are revealed immediately.
Moderate 48h
100% refund (>48h notice) | 50% refund (<48h notice). Provider details are masked until 48 hours before.
Premium 7-Day
100% refund (>7 days) | 50% (7d to 48h) | 0% (<48h). Details masked until 7 days before.
Anti-Leaking: To protect the integrity of the marketplace, direct contact information (Phone, WhatsApp, exact Location) is hidden until the cancellation window has expired.
SPECIFIC TERMS FOR TRANSFERS (VIP TRANSPORT)
Legal Fares & Data
Per Greek National Law, minimum fare is €36. Users must provide the lead passenger's full name for the Ministry of Transport's digital registry.
The Mykonos Pickup Protocol
5-minute grace period due to parking restrictions. If parking is prohibited, drivers will circle. After 5 mins, it's marked as a "No-Show" and is 100% non-refundable.
Mid-Ride Changes
Changes to destination or extra stops incur additional charges calculated at €1 per minute (after the first 3 mins of waiting).
PAYMENTS & SECURITY
- Payment Gateway: All transactions are processed through Revolut Business.
- Authorization: By booking, you authorize the Company to charge your card for the service and any additional mid-ride modifications or no-show fees as defined herein.
DATA & PRIVACY
The App collects geolocation data (including Background Location) to ensure successful pickups and service tracking. Usage of this data is governed by our Privacy Policy in accordance with GDPR.
USER CONTENT & REVIEWS
All feedback, ratings, and photos uploaded to the App become the intellectual property of The Island App IKE for marketing and quality assurance purposes.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by Greek Law. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled exclusively in the Hellenic Courts (Greece).
